Dating to the early 20th century, this gorgeous Diamond Toi et Moi ring features two diamonds weighing approximately 0.50ct each. Both stones are held in classic eight claw platinum settings and assessed as E colour and SI1-SI2 clarity, offering a beautifully bright appearance. The two principal early brilliant cut diamonds sit within a traditional twist crossover design, with further eight cut diamond detailing following the platinum topped shoulders. The setting leads into a contrasting 18ct yellow gold band, typical of fine jewellery from the period. Stamped ‘18CT PLAT’ to the inner band and testing accordingly, this is a beautiful example of the classic Toi et Moi design, meaning ‘you and me’, with two principal stones sitting together to symbolise two people joined as one.
