Our Story
Nicholsons has been a fixture on South Hawksworth Street for over 30 years, a much-loved part of Ilkley that has stood the test of time. In April 2023, Daisy took over the shop and brought with her a passion for jewellery that started long before she had a shopfront to call home.
Daisy founded Wharfedale Antiques as a purely online business, built on a love of antique and vintage jewellery and a talent for finding beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. When the opportunity arose to take over Nicholsons - an Ilkley institution - it felt like a natural next step. The two businesses merged, and Nicholsons became the home for everything Daisy does: antique and vintage finds, contemporary & bespoke pieces, repairs, and more.
Today, Nicholsons is more than a jewellery shop. It's a place where you can find something with a story, create something new, or simply come in for a chat with someone who genuinely loves what they do.
